Business Challenge

A large aircraft engine manufacturer was relying on its historical system for distributing C-class hardware.

In order to ensure parts were available at the point of use, a series of Direct Line Feed Carousels were introduced across their production facilities.

However, the solution was not designed to be a control measure for the parts. Through continuous improvement projects, it was clear that a more advanced delivery solution for C-class hardware was required in order to meet the increased production volumes and aerospace quality requirements.

Incora implemented a fully customized kitting solution tailored to the customer’s specifications.

Each kit provided a consolidated quantity of material for a specific part of the engine build and was delivered directly to the corresponding build area.
