Hari Kumar Rajendran
Executive Vice President, Global Warehouse Operations
With end-to-end order fulfillment responsibilities, Hari leads the vision, strategy, planning, and day-to-day execution teams. These teams are responsible for operations, quality, freight, inventory control, shared service centers, business improvement, facilities, and maintenance globally.
Hari joined the business in 2022, leading the North American operations team. Before joining, he successfully led operations at Pickupnow, a heavy bulky delivery solutions provider using a crowdsourcing model across the US. During his tenure, the company doubled its revenue.
Before Pickupnow, Hari was the General Manager with P&L responsibilities for Global Industrial, a privately held MR&O company. There, he led the transformation of their largest order fulfillment site, delivering 2X growth in profitability.
Before starting at Global Industrial, Hari successfully scaled last-mile logistics for Amazon into a $2.4B business from 2016 to 2020. He led multiple teams from Engineering, Process Standards, and Tech Development. Hari holds the patent for the Amazon delivery station sortation system and delivery bags, which are still used globally by Amazon.
Prior to Amazon, Hari led global continuous improvement initiatives for Thyssenkrupp Aerospace, where he architected the Thyssenkrupp Business System and deployed Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies. He also held multiple continuous improvement roles at Bombardier Learjet from 2006 to 2011 and was part of the transformation team.
Hari holds a master’s degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Wichita State University and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bharathiar University (India). He is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys. He has a love for speed, and his favorite pastime is riding his motorcycle.
